SyncCut AI
Multi-track timeline video editor with AI script, image, video and TTS
SyncCut AI is a browser-based timeline editor for assembling video, image and audio clips with transitions, trims and audio sync. Built-in AI tools write narration, generate images and video clips (including image-to-video) and produce speech, and the finished timeline renders to MP4 on the server. Project state auto-saves to the project workspace and follows you across devices.
Who it is for: Engineers, researchers and creators making explainer, slideshow or narration videos from generated or project media
Quick answers
Why does my rendered MP4 miss clips that play in the preview?
The server renderer only reads media stored on the server (AI generations, TTS, Studio outputs). Locally imported files, extracted frames and workspace-tab files are skipped.
Can I make a video from a still image?
Yes. Attach a Reference Image in the AI Video dialog; Veo and LTX use it as the first frame. Extract Last Frame lets you continue an existing shot.
Which AI backend does SyncCut use?
The Script Writer follows the floating backend selector (platform, BYOK or local via TektBridge). Image/video use local Forge/ComfyUI or the server's cloud keys; TTS uses the suite voice server.
Where is my timeline saved?
In a hidden state file in the current project workspace, auto-saved 5 seconds after each change and on page close, so it syncs across devices.
Can I render vertical 9:16 video?
Not yet. Clips can be generated in 9:16, but the renderer always outputs 1920x1080 and letterboxes.
