Run, edit and AI-generate single-file HTML mini-apps in a sandbox
Artifacts runs self-contained HTML/JS mini-apps (calculators, forms, viewers, small tools) inside TektStudio in a sandboxed frame. Paste code, start from one of five bundled templates, or ask the AI chat to write or fix an artifact and run the reply with one click. A built-in extractor reads the inputs and results of any running artifact as JSON for copying or export.

What is an artifact?
A single HTML file with inline CSS and JavaScript that does one job, such as a calculator or a form, run inside TektStudio.
Is AI-generated code safe to run?
It runs in a sandboxed iframe with no access to your session, cookies or files; its only link to the suite is the TektonSDK message bridge. It can still reach the network, so read code that handles sensitive data.
Why is my saved artifact not in the Hub?
Saves go to the server's local workspace folder, not the synced cloud project workspace, so they do not appear in the Hub or sync between devices. Use Export or copy to keep important files.
How do I move results into a document or chart?
Click Extract, then Export or Copy the JSON and import it into DocMan, Dashboard or Diagrams. The in-app Send to buttons are not wired on the receiving side yet.
Can I use React or Svelte?
Only through CDN script tags inside the one HTML file. Separate .jsx, .tsx or .svelte files are listed but not compiled.
