Refund Policy

Effective: February 14, 2026

Free Trial

The Starter plan includes a free trial period. No payment is required and no refund is applicable for the free tier.

Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You retain full access until the end of the paid period.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle for monthly plans.

Annual Subscriptions

• Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
• After 14 days, cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual period with no refund.
• Prorated refunds for annual plans may be considered on a case-by-case basis for qualifying circumstances.

Prorated Refunds

Prorated refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

• Extended service outage exceeding our SLA commitments (Enterprise plans)
• Billing errors or duplicate charges
• Downgrade from a higher tier mid-cycle (credit applied to future billing)

How to Request a Refund

1. Email billing@tektonai.com with your account email and reason for the request.
2. We will review your request within 5 business days.
3. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Non-Refundable

• Setup fees or onboarding charges (Enterprise plans)
• Custom development or integration work
• Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

Plan Changes

• Upgrade: Prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
• Downgrade: Takes effect at the next billing cycle. Credit may be applied.
