ARCH3D
Plan-to-3D building and site modeler with IFC export
ARCH3D lets you draw walls, openings, slabs, stairs and roofs on a 2D plan and see them in 3D at once, cut whole-model sections and elevations, and plot A3 sheets. The same model carries a TIN terrain with grading, corridors, hydrology and slope analysis, rooms with finishes and clear dimensions, a structural mode with Eurocode loads, and exports IFC2x3, GLB/OBJ/STL and SAF. An AI panel turns a text description into modelling operations.
Who it is for: Architects, civil and structural engineers, surveyors and visualisers who want one browser model from site survey to IFC.
Quick answers
Where is my model saved?
In the project chosen in the Hub, as a JSON file under models/. One project can hold several models; use the Models button to switch.
Does it export IFC?
Yes, IFC2x3 with typed elements, spaces, coverings and assemblies. You choose whether to export a building, a plot or a parcel.
Can I bring in a real survey?
Import CSV points (x,y,z), GeoJSON or Shapefile breaklines and parcels, or send a terrain and orthophoto from Atlas. Place the site datum to read absolute ASL levels.
What does the AI do?
It converts a sentence like 'house 9x7 m, hip roof 25 degrees' into modelling operations, checks the geometry and rolls back a failed batch. It can also generate 3D assets from text.
Is there DXF export?
No. Drawings plot as A3 PNG sheets; geometry exports as IFC, GLB, glTF, OBJ or STL.
