Dashboard Maker AI is a pixel-positioned canvas for technical reports and presentation decks. You place chart, text, equation, diagram, table and media panels on fixed-size pages, link them through a shared live calculation scope, and let the AI assistant write or rewrite panel content. Dashboards auto-save into the project and can be presented as a slideshow, printed as posters, exported as a layout file or published as a stand-alone web page.

Quick answers
Can a value in one panel drive a chart in another?
Yes. Define it in a vars fence in any text panel and reference it as {= name =} inside the chart source; dependent panels re-render when it changes.
How do I plot a CSV I dropped in without pasting its rows?
Give the CSV panel a title such as loads and write "__CSV.loads__" where the chart spec expects data values; the rows are substituted at render time.
How do I get a PDF of my dashboard?
Print Posters opens one page per sheet in the browser print dialog; choose Save as PDF. Charts print as their source text, so use Publish for a graphical version.
Where is my dashboard stored?
In the active project as .dashboard-state.json, written a few seconds after each change and on an interval, so it follows the project to your other devices.
Why does the AI panel say Not connected?
The health check to the chosen backend failed. Pick another backend in the drop-down, check your keys, or start TektBridge for local and remote-device backends.
