Composer

Mind-map your document, attach live blocks, compile to DocMan

DocumentsBest on desktop; partial on phoneBetaAI-assisted

Composer is a node-based outliner for technical documents. You grow a tree of ideas by hand or with AI lenses, attach live charts, diagrams, calculations, tables and media to nodes, and compile the graph into a DocMan Markdown file or a Dashboard page. The same Markdown imports back, so outline and document stay in sync.

Who it is for: Engineers, researchers and technical writers planning structured reports with charts and calculations

Quick answers

How do I turn my composition into a document?

Set a name and click → DocMan. A Markdown file with headings per node and fenced blocks is written to the project; open it in DocMan.

Can calculations in one node use variables from another?

Yes. All vars/calc lines are evaluated together to a fixed point, so node order does not matter.

Why does a chart show a warning instead of rendering?

Its source failed to parse. Vega-lite and plotly need valid JSON; mermaid is syntax-checked. Pasting from a rendered view can introduce HTML entities, so import from a project file instead.

Does Composer autosave?

No. The graph lives in memory until you click Save or a compile button, and there is no unsaved-changes warning or undo.

Does it work on my phone?

You can select nodes and edit text in the side drawer, but panning, zooming, dragging and drawing page boxes need a mouse.
