Project picker, file manager, device sync and AI agent in one place
The Hub is the launcher and the only project picker of the suite. It manages the project's files with rich previews (documents, spreadsheets, charts, PDF, 3D and CAD models), keeps them in sync across your devices with per-file push, pull and conflict resolution, and hosts the AI agent chat that can read, write and search on your behalf.
Who it is for: Every TektStudio user; the first app you open and the one that organises everything else.
Quick answers
Why can't I change the project from another app?
The Hub is the only project picker by design. Other apps show the active project read-only and link back to the Hub; switching here updates every open app.
What do the coloured dots next to files mean?
White is in sync, blue has local changes to push, yellow has a newer version elsewhere, grey is not downloaded here, orange is waiting for an offline device, red is a conflict. Hover for the explanation and click the button next to the dot to act.
Should I link a visible folder or app storage on my phone?
App storage (OPFS). Android can invalidate a visible folder handle mid-sync and iOS Safari has no folder picker. Files in app storage are previewed and exported from the Hub.
Does deleting or unlinking a project delete my files?
No. Delete Project removes the cloud copy and the record; Unlink Folder forgets the link. Files in your folder stay on disk.
Can the AI agent change my files?
Yes, when asked. It can list, read, write and delete files in the active project and search the web. Writes go to your linked folder when present and sync to your other devices.
