Motion
Keyframe-animate SVG, sketches and rendered documents into MP4 clips
Motion is a no-code 2D keyframe animator. Load an SVG, an HTML page, a Freehand sketch or a DocMan document, select elements, pose them on a timeline (position, scale, rotation, opacity), draw motion paths, apply transition presets and keyframe a pan/zoom camera. Everything encodes to H.264 MP4 in the browser and can be sent straight onto the SyncCut timeline.
Who it is for: Engineers, researchers and creators who want quick explainer clips, document scroll tours and animated diagrams without a video tool.
Quick answers
Where is Motion in the Hub?
It has no Hub tile. Open Studio and click the Motion tab, or send content from DocMan or Freehand.
Can I save an animation and reopen it later?
No. Keyframes live in memory only; export the MP4 before leaving the page.
What can be animated?
Position, scale, rotation and opacity of elements, plus a pan/zoom camera. Colours, text and path shapes cannot be keyframed.
Why is my DocMan page exported as a portrait scroll video?
Tall content is auto-framed at 1080x1920 with a top-to-bottom camera scroll. Change the Frame menu or clear the camera keys to override.
Does it work on a phone?
No. The stage uses mouse events only, so selection and dragging do not work on touch screens.
